These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PilotRepute's website and services (the "Service"). By creating an account, starting a trial, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use PilotRepute on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorized to bind that business.
1. The Service
PilotRepute helps local businesses manage their online reputation — including drafting and publishing replies to reviews and creating, scheduling, and publishing social media posts. You choose the automation level for each feature: fully automatic, or approval-first, where nothing is published until you approve it.
Some content is generated with the help of AI and may occasionally be inaccurate or imperfect. You are responsible for the content published through your connected accounts, including content published automatically when you enable automatic mode.
2. Accounts
You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
3. Plans, billing & free trial
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe.
- The Starter plan includes a 14-day free trial; a valid payment method is required to start it. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins and your card is charged.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month until canceled. You can cancel anytime, and cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable for partial billing periods. Prices may change with notice.
- Add-ons and modular features are billed according to the options you select.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any law or the terms or policies of connected platforms (including Google, Yelp, and Facebook).
- Create false, misleading, or incentivized reviews, or otherwise manipulate reviews in violation of platform rules.
- Publish content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harassing, or harmful.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it.
5. Connected accounts & third parties
When you connect a third-party account, you authorize PilotRepute to access and act on it as needed to provide the Service. Your use of those platforms remains subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or their availability.
6. Intellectual property
We own the Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding your content). You retain ownership of the content you provide and the content published to your accounts. You grant us a limited license to use that content solely to operate and improve the Service.
7. AI-generated content
Draft replies and posts may be generated using automated and AI tools. You are responsible for reviewing content where you have enabled approval-first mode, and you accept responsibility for content published automatically where you have enabled automatic mode.
8. Cancellation & termination
You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PilotRepute will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold PilotRepute harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party rights.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms or the Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be handled in the courts located in Arizona, unless otherwise required by law.
